The new Ghirardelli Soda Fountain at Disney California Adventure had it’s soft opening on June 1, 2012, complete with free samples of chocolate. The handmade chocolate-dipped waffle cones were quite good, and the ice cream was great. While I’ll miss the free tortillas (and the child that says “maseca!”) from the Mission Tortilla Factory tour, Ghirardelli is a welcome addition to DCA.
